Qualifications:- Graduate of any business course
At least with experience in import and export transaction- Willing to be assigned in Magallanes Makati
- Job Descriptions & Roles:
Estimate and establish cost and budgets for purchases;- Maintain records of purchases, pricing and other important data;
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply and price options;
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts;
Maintain and update list of suppliers;- Understand product specifications requested by the technical team;
Identify prospective suppliers globally;
- Coordinate with prospective suppliers to get information on product cost, availability, specifications, delivery timelines and payment terms & conditions;
Prepare, Confirm and Generate Purchase Orders (PO);- Confirm quantity of products received against PO;
Identify alternative vendors to ensure timely closure of PO;
- Collect data on alternative products with lower cost and/or shorter delivery lead times;
Coordinate with multiple prospective, existing or past vendors to collect information on price trends for products being repeatedly ordered in bulk;- Manage any procurement activities such as track the status of any orders, review deliveries, deal with any conditions against the orders (under order, over order, damaged, non-supplied);
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries;
- Respond to customer and vendor inquiries about order status, changes or cancellations; and
* Maintain records of quantity, type and value of material, equipment, or supplies on hand.
