As a Purchasing Clerk, you will have to work in the procurement department of our company and the group. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for supporting purchasing in the reception, preparation and follow-up of purchase orders. You will also be responsible for issuing and confirming direct import orders.

Purchase Order (PO) Processing
. Receive, and prepare our customersu0027 purchase orders including direct imports and document each step.
. Validate order information with suppliers (quantities, prices, delivery dates).
. Compare supplier offers, document comparisons and present the best one to customers for approval.
. Process order confirmations and send copies to appropriate parties.
. Contact suppliers to schedule or accelerate deliveries.
. Use the various customer portals to enter and document the required information.
. Follow up on open purchase orders, document the process and verify that orders have been received by our customers.
. Compare invoices and purchase orders for accuracy.
. Answer questions from sales teams to optimize customer orders.
. Prepare, maintain and review purchase requisitions, reports and price lists, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
. Support the procurement team in any other related task.

What it takes to be part of our team:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of procurement or administration.
  • Post-secondary education in purchasing, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of the Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel,
    Outlook).
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems or ability to learn computer
    technologies.
  • Advanced in English - spoken and written.
