Purchasing Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment essential for construction projects.
- Duties and Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors for construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with suppliers to secure cost-effective contracts.
Continuously monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of construction materials to make informed purchasing decisions.- Ensure on-time deliveries and manage inventory levels.
Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to project sites.
- Ensure that all procured materials and equipment meet quality standards and specifications.
Track and analyze procurement expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.- Implement cost control measures to optimize the company's purchasing budget.
Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field. (Open for fresh graduates)
- Preferably with experience in procurement and purchasing (OJT) within the construction industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.- Must be willing to work in Ortigas Ave. Ext., Cainta, Rizal
