We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented PMS (Purchasing) Associate to join our team. The PMS Associate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services for our organization. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure efficient procurement processes. The PMS Associate will work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of quality products at competitive prices. Additionally, the PMS Associate will play a key role in coordinating the schedule of repairs and maintenance, working closely with the Property Engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
- Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on price, quality, availability, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and delivery terms.
Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and product availability.
Collaborate with internal departments to determine procurement needs, specifications, and budgetary constraints.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring the accuracy of product details, quantities, and delivery schedules.
Track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Monitor supplier performance, including evaluating delivery times, quality, and customer service.
Manage and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing any concerns or disputes.
Coordinate the schedule of repairs and maintenance activities, collaborating closely with Property Engineers.
Ensure the availability of necessary equipment, parts, and materials for maintenance and repair tasks.
Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding procurement and maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Stay up to date with relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement and maintenance.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or any related course (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
Strong Negotiation and vendor management skills
Excellent analytical and Problem-solving skills.
Proficient in using procurement software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
