Purchasing Assistant

Job Qualification

• Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred;

with experience on Hotel, restaurant, catering, supermarket or any food related services as Purchasing Assistant

Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors); Hands-on experience with purchasing software;

• Understanding of supply chain procedures;

Familiarity with Chinese products;

• With relevant

purchasing experience specifically in fresh fruits, vegetables, seafoods and meat; Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software;.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills;

Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.

• Job Description:

• Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies;

Preparing standards for the sale of goods, SOP;

• Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased;

Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records;

• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc;

Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts;

• Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports;

Track orders and ensure timely delivery;

• Review quality of purchased products;

Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses;

• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed;

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage;
