As a _Purchasing Assistant
_, you are expected to provide administrative support for the Procurement Department. It includes monitoring current inventory, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure that the company has a sufficient amount of necessary materials or equipment.- Ensuring that she or he assists the immediate head in carrying out department tasks
Support in coordination with Finance, administration, and other departments to ensure
- integrated internal controls, timely payment of vendors, and full, auditable support documentation.
Ensuring that a transparent and responsive procurement process is implemented and maintained.- Routine communication, coordination, and planning with the relevant requesting staff and programs regarding the order and delivery of supplies.
Assist in ensuring that all supplies, services, and equipment required are delivered on time.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of ethical, professional working relationships with suppliers.
Maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items, and be informed of current local market conditions.
- What does it take to be part of the team
Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies, and procedures
Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Google Sheets- Good time management and organizational skills
Basic mathematical knowledge
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Can relate well to different kinds of people and take on work with high integrity, a positive outlook, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
