Duties and Responsibilities:- Research potential suppliers and obtain quotes for goods and services.
Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms.- Create and process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues.
Keep accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts.- Assist in managing the budget for purchasing activities and ensure expenditures stay within budgetary constraints.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant laws and regulations governing procurement activities.
- Communicate effectively with various departments within the organization to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline purchasing processes and reduce costs.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.- Proficiency in using purchasing software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing procurement activities is desirable.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
