Duties and responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls
Encode and deal with multiple paper works- Monitor stock levels, track orders, and update order records
Conduct market research and reach potential vendors, evaluate vendor offers, negotiate prices, and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate and report with Purchasing Officer for the purchasing needs
Develop and maintain a contact lists of vendors- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Assist the Project Manager and Engineers for purchasing needs
Requirements:
- Graduate of any course, with proven experience in purchasing for at least 6 months
Working experience in a construction industry is a plus (must be familiar with construction specs)- Knowledge of office equipment, office management systems, and procedures
Must be proficient in MS Office applications especially in MS Excel
- With be knowledgeable with local suppliers
