Scope of the Role
As a purchasing agent, you will be crucial in the organization's supply chain and procurement operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Create change orders in Homefront from approved Addendums.
- Issue PO's with proper job cost coding.
- Obtain bids from subcontractors and vendors.
- Create subcontractor addendums.
- Maintain standards and option price lists.
- Updating documents and files daily with accuracy.
- Distribution of information to multiple sources with accuracy and organization.
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, resolve problems, meet deadlines and performance objectives.
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience working as a Purchasing Administrator or Purchasing Coordinator with a residential homebuilder.
- Proficiency with digital tools, such as Excel, Sage 100, Homefront, Envision, QuickBooks, and Word.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can take direction, is good with numbers, is a quick learner, and has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
