As we continue to expand, we are seeking a capable and experienced Purchasing Administrative Officer to join our team.
We are in search of a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Administrative Officer to support our procurement process for bakery goods manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or administrative roles, with a preference for candidates with experience in the food industry, particularly bakery goods. The Purchasing Administrative Officer will play a crucial role in assisting with sourcing suppliers, managing contracts, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring smooth communication within the purchasing department.
Assist with sourcing and evaluating suppliers of raw materials and packaging materials for bakery goods production.- Provide administrative support for contract negotiation and management, including maintaining records and documentation.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and assist with inventory management tasks.
Collaborate with the production team and other departments to facilitate effective communication and workflow.- Prepare and analyze reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings within the purchasing function.
- Handle other administrative tasks as required to support the purchasing department and overall business operations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or administrative roles, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with purchasing software is desirable.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards is a plus.
