Public Relations Manager

_Public Relations Manager Responsibilities:_
- Managing accounts and client relationships/ client servicing.
- Developing PR plan, engagement proposals and campaign strategies
- Supporting the PR Associate Director in implementing the company's PR strategy.
- Writing media releases, scheduling PR events and conducting research.
- Creating engaging content for media releases, social media platforms, and newsletters.
- Building relationships with clients and potential clients, suppliers, and the media.
- Assisting the PR Associate Director with the scheduling and organizing of events.
- Giving input on marketing initiatives and suggesting creative ways to improve the
company's public image.
- Conducting research on marketing initiatives of the company's competitors.
- Monitoring of media coverage on events and media releases that were issued and
creating press clippings.
- Updating media lists.
- Performing administrative duties.

_Tasks:_
- Manage and handle 2-3 retainer accounts/ clients
- Develop PR engagement proposals, campaign plans and strategies
- Write Press Releases (News Articles)
- Write Editorials / Opinion pieces
- Write Media Pitches
- Seed press releases to media (via email)
- Send media interview pitches
- Liaise media engagements/ interviews / follow up press for media opportunities
- Create PR Reports
- And other tasks that may be assigned by the Managing Director
