The Public Ecosystem & Health Economics Lead manages a Health Economics cross-functional team and their activities responsible for health economics and outcomes research, modeling, reporting, and other relevant analyses, within applicable legal and regulatory guidelines, which can be used to quantify the value of Roche products in economic or societal terms. Supports other affiliate functions and teams in recommending, developing/conducting and advising on health economics and outcomes research modeling strategies, developing value propositions, health economics-portions of product dossiers, and other health economics-related market communication that differentiates Roche products.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Leads and manages Health Economics activities for the assigned affiliate including health economics and outcomes research, modelling, reporting, and other relevant analyses, within applicable legal and regulatory guidelines, which can be used to quantify the value of Roche products in economic or societal terms
- With a cross-functional team, prepare and implement the key stakeholders engagement plan for public funding for Roche innovations
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with stakeholders including but not limited to the public and private payers, patient organizations, medical and professional societies, and academe to advance mutual goals and objectives supporting an ecosystem with better recognition of the value of innovation, with focus on Roche solutions, for better patient, health service provider and other stakeholder experience
- With a cross-functional team, demonstrate and communicate the economic, quality of life and other value benefits to payers, clinicians, patients, and relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to understand the intersection of pain points, unmet needs, stakeholder preference, and Roche solutions
- Leads initiatives across internal and external stakeholders to help public and private value recognition appreciation for Roche products
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any 4-year course, post-graduate degree an advantage
- Broad access experience
- Good understanding of opportunity and challenges of the national and local health care systems, and patient journeys
- Strong organization knowledge and global or other affiliate networking ability
- Skilled in developing strategies to secure positive recommendations from healthcare bodies in the country
- Experience and strong ability in working collaboratively
- Demonstrated effective, agile, fit-for-purpose leadership of cross-functional teams
- Good communication skills (English). Computer literacy and proficiency in applicable software, especially for economic modelling
- Demonstrated excellence in relationship building and collaborating at all levels within an organization
