What you will do:
- Government relations advocacy and stakeholder relations to protect company interests and build brand trust
- Represents the organization, establishes and builds relationships with government offices to keep them informed about the organization's plans
- Analyzes government legislation both at a national or local level, that negatively or positively impacts the company
- Develops and implements strategies to build trust or mitigate risk for the company or restaurants operations
- Engage with and advocate the company's positions, purpose approach and societal impact with key external stakeholders, including policy makers and regulators, industry trade associations, and non-government organizations
- Be part of a cross-functional team for public policy and stakeholder relations; will oversee initiatives and public policy commitments across the value chain to ensure alignment and integration with the overall company strategy and global impact goals
- Provides leadership and guidance to leadership and other company functions, as well as oversee agency partners who provide support on the overall mandate in the job description
- Provides support and guidance affecting restaurant operations
- Develops position papers for government and other stakeholders
What we are looking for:
- At least 10 years working in Pubic Affairs or the similar field
- Must be knowledgeable in national and local policy
- Experience working for the government or with legal background is an advantage
- Strategic and critical thinker with strong consensus building and communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment with both external and internal parties
