The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) is the implementing arm of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council in the Philippines. **PSYCHOMETRICIAN**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Psychometrician to join our HR Recruitment team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing psychometric assessments and tools to support our recruitment processes. This role requires expertise in psychological measurement, statistical analysis, and test development to ensure the validity, reliability, and fairness of our assessment methods.
**Job Description:**
Provide technical assistance on the implementation of PRIME-HRM particularly in the Human Resource Recruitment, Selection and Placement system;
Perform other functions as may be directed by the immediate supervisor.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Assessment Development:**
- Design and develop psychometric tests and assessments for candidate evaluation.
- Ensure assessments are valid, reliable, and fair, aligning with job requirements.
2. **Data Analysis:**
- Analyze assessment data to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment tools.
- Conduct statistical analyses to validate test results and improve assessment methodologies.
3. **Test Administration:**
- Oversee the administration of psychometric assessments during the recruitment process.
4. **Research and Development:**
- Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in psychometrics and recruitment.
- Conduct research to develop new assessment tools and improve existing ones.
5. **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Prepare detailed reports on assessment outcomes and provide recommendations based on data analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of test development, validation studies, and assessment results.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
- Strong understanding of psychometric principles, including reliability, validity, and item analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-experts.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Experience in HR or recruitment is a plus.
