The Role:
The Proposal Manager's role is to manage and coordinate all activities related to proposal submissions and bid responses for ServiceNow consulting, advisory, and implementation services. You will work closely with the Sales and Presales/Solution Consulting teams to manage the response documentation from early templates to ultimate submission to the customer. The Proposal Manager ensures that writing best practices, and internal review processes, lead to high quality and timely winning responses
Main Responsibilities:
Compelling Response Production: Manage the response/proposal including the development of storyboards, response organization, and a writing plan.
Communicate Required Standards: Analyse and articulate to the response team customer demands and align the style guide and response templates accordingly
Proposal Development: Coordinate, lead, and motivate all contributors to produce quality responses in a timely manner. Write sections of the proposal of a generic nature for example Quality, Health, and Safety. Liaise with SME input for specialist areas for example for legal and commercial
Tracking response status: Chase and coordinate response content from multiple contributors.
Presales Function Continuous Improvement: Identify areas and methods of improvement and efficiencies in proposal management responses and bring this to life to uplift the organization's overall presales capabilities.
Leadership: They are seen as a key part of the presales team, can lead and facilitate response team meetings, and are able to coordinate responses from geographically split teams to meet stretching milestones with high quality deliverables.
Skills Matrix:
2 years of hands-on experience responding to tenders and bids.
Experience managing medium-sized (4 people) or larger teams responding to bids.
Experience in working with a presales function/team.
Expert MS Word / Powerpoint and Excel user uses MS TEAMS and SharePoint proficiently and is meticulous about version control.
