Project DescriptionThe project is a collaborative effort, funded by the Philippine government's Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) through a private non-governmental organization (NGO). It will involve the simultaneous execution of activities for the first two research aims, followed by an evaluation of the third aim. The ultimate goal is to develop a highly sensitive and specific diagnostic test, integrated with a digital surveillance system that links patients and their data for improved treatment access.
Develop the DeepMulti-PRS model architecture incorporating DeepLIFT and Transformers-based models and other variations for experiments.
- Select and preprocess training data, including clinical and epidemiological variables.
Integrate data from various sources to enrich the model with comprehensive health information.- Compare model performance with benchmarks and validate model outputs.
Work closely with domain experts to interdisciplinary teams, including software developers, healthcare professionals, and user experience designers.
- Document methodologies, algorithms, and results to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
Write technical reports, manuscripts, papers and presentations for project presentation and reporting.
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
With 2-3 years of experience in project management
With in-depth knowledge in programming
