The project site manager is responsible for managing and supervising the on-site construction and maintenance work of project delivery projects, ensuring that the project progresses efficiently according to plan and meets the expected quality standards. Their main functions and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing and supervising the on-site construction team, including assigning work tasks, coordinating construction progress, resolving on-site issues, etc., to ensure smooth progress of the construction process.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments, suppliers, and clients to address technical, progress, quality, and other issues in the project, ensuring smooth project progress.
Responsible for on-site safety management, including establishing safety regulations, training construction personnel, supervising on-site safety conditions, etc., to ensure safety during the construction process.
Supervise quality control work during the construction process, ensuring that construction quality meets relevant standards and requirements, and participate in project acceptance work.
Manage the human, material, and time resources required on-site reasonably, ensure the full utilization of resources, and improve construction efficiency.
Handle problems and emergencies that arise during on-site construction promptly, formulate response plans, and ensure that project progress is not affected.
Record important information and data during the construction process, compile construction progress reports, quality reports, etc., and report project progress to superiors and relevant departments.
Maintain good communication and coordination with clients, address client issues and needs, maintain good customer relationships, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team, solve technical problems encountered during construction, and ensure that construction work is carried out according to technical requirements.
Assist in site surveys and communication with designers.
Coordinate communication with the owner, submit design proposals for review, and provide feedback on review comments.
Assist in handling on-site faults and other related issues until site acceptance is completed.
Manage all activities of allocated resources (human and machinery) with optimal efficiency.
Ensure quality deployment and integration of new nodes (infrastructure and equipment).
Supervise and control the quality of on-site engineering delivery.
Improve the quality of engineering construction.
