JOB DETAILSThe Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, developing project controls, communicating project timelines to internal and external stakeholders, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring that Managers are equipped with information to ensure projects are delivered within budget and on time. The role will need to work closely with managers to ensure all planning steps and lead times are captured in detailed schedules. The successful candidate will need to work closely with the client's onshore Site Manager to facilitate implementation of the works and to pass on practical uses of scheduling and project controls. Interpersonal communication with stakeholders is also a key skill.
Schedule Development:- Create and manage project schedules using appropriate tools and software.
Collaborate with project managers and team leads to gather project requirements and milestones.Resource Planning:
Work closely with resource managers to allocate and optimize resources effectively.
- Identify and address resource constraints to ensure project timelines are met.
Communication:
- Facilitate communication between project teams to gather status updates and progress reports.
Provide regular updates on project timelines and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
Identify potential risks to project schedules and develop contingency plans.- Proactively address scheduling conflicts and challenges to minimize disruptions.
Documentation:- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project schedules and documentation.
Generate reports and dashboards to track project progress and performance.Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand dependencies and interdependencies.
- Foster a collaborative and communicative environment to ensure smooth project execution.
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in project scheduling and management
Experience in outage planning- Must Have Experience in MS Project Scheduling
Must Have Experience in Primavera P6
- Experience in commercial air-conditioning and mechanical services contractor in Australia focusing on heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical, controls, fire protection, construction
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Experience in the energy industry a plus
