We're looking for a Planner / Scheduler with demonstrated experience to join our team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the role will require liaising with the project teams responsible to deliver our small project works programs in accordance with our contractual requirements.
The Role
The Planner / Scheduler is accountable for all aspects of planning, scheduling, and monitoring project performance. The Planner / Scheduler's responsibilities include:
Produce project tender program in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project according to the scope of works, contract requirements, project objectives and deliverables.
Working collaboratively with the project delivery teams to establish fully integrated baseline program.
Develop a standardised planning approach and program for different scopes of work.
Hands-on planning preparation, in conjunction with Project Team, optimise working program to meet project objectives covering design, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover, and client key constraints as appropriate.
Validate construction methodologies, resourcing, activity durations, schedule logic, float allocation and critical path identification, including those within supplier submissions.
Capture and analyse project information (e.g. delays, productivity, etc).
Work with Bid Teams to resolve logic errors, help explain options of design impact on program, and update program according to actions taken by the tender review.
Present information for internal meetings on the projects.
Establish communication with site team to receive weekly status of works and physical progress data.
Perform weekly updates of project schedule, communicate changes in critical path, milestone dates and highlight delays and potential schedule slippages to the project manager and commercial team.
You will be an experienced Project Scheduler with proven experience and reliability in previous positions.
The successful candidates will possess:
Proficiency with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Projects scheduling software.
Experience on construction projects with good working experience around access requirements and construction sequence and logic
Effective oral and written communication skills
Approximately 6 years experience in a scheduling role
Advance knowledge in using Excel
Power BI reporting skills (desirable but not essential)
ABOUT YOU
Have a proven history working in facilities or field service dispatch / scheduling role. Preferably HVAC, ELEC, FIRE
Have experience in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
Proven construction projects experience with good working experience around access requirement and construction sequence & logic
Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy skills and experience with Primavera P6 and or Microsoft Projects scheduling software
Advanced Excel Skills
Work Location / Working shifts:
Pasig City; NSW Business hours; NSW Legal Holidays Off ; Hybrid (3x a week onsite)
