As Scrum Master, the responsibilities are:_
Works with Product Owners by:
- Coaching the Product Owners to fully adopt and understand Scrum.
Ensuring that goals, scope, and product value are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team- Identifying techniques for effective Product Backlog management.
Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value.
- Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed
Works with Dev Team by:
- Coaching the Development Team to fully adopt and understand Scrum.
Helping the Development Team to create high-value products.- Removing impediments to the Development Team's progress.
Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed
As Project Manager, the responsibilities are:
- Leads finalization of scope of work/ project objectives, project schedule, resources requirement, and budget
Creates Project Charter/RFC- Ensures successful and complete delivery of the project / solution which includes thorough quality check and compliance to CIT Operations Excellence standards
Leads over-all issues and risk management
- Facilitates project communication and updates to relevant stakeholders and team members
Ensures project closure by sending out project accomplishment report and Customer Satisfaction Survey 30-60 days post go-live- Ensures Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery plan in place
Ensures successful cascade and smooth transition to Business As Usual phase.
- Drives adoption of Scrum where necessary. This includes setting of processes, advocating agile approach.
Provides inputs in creating project evaluations, identifying improvement areas and new opportunities- Works closely with CIT Technical leads (apps, infra, security, and data) for guidance and compliance to corporate standards and policies while adopting agile approaches.
- Qualification and Experience:
Must have 3-5 years experience as Scrum Master and Project Manager- Must have good communication and presentation skills
Software Scrum Master Certification is a plus
- Computer Science/Information Technology Graduate
Must have a high level of technical expertise and clear insights into current business practices.
