Job Description: Project Manager / Scrum MasterThe Project Manager/Scrum Master is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects while simultaneously facilitating Agile practices within the team. This dual role requires the ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, while also guiding the team through Agile methodologies to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement.
Project Management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement mitigation strategies.- Report project status to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.- Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and Scrum practices.
Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and help maintain focus on project goals.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the product backlog and prioritize work.
Coach the team on Agile practices and encourage continuous improvement.- Track and communicate team performance metrics, including velocity and sprint progress.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience in project management and/or Scrum Master roles.
Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
- Strong knowledge of both traditional project management and Agile methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.- Proficiency in project management and Agile tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
Experience in software development, IT, or a related field.- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with change management and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Lean).
