This is a hybrid position at The Foundry, BGC, Taguig City (at least 2 days a month onsite)
What does a day in the life of a Project Manager look like
Define and document project requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document the business and technical requirements for the project.
Develop and manage project plans: Create and maintain project plans that outline the tasks, timelines, resources, and risks associated with the project
Manage and lead the project team: Assemble, lead, and motivate a team of technical specialists to deliver the project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Communicate with stakeholders: Communicate regularly with stakeholders to keep them updated on the project's progress, status, and any potential risks or issues.
Test and deploy the product or service: Work with Manage the team to test and deploy the product or service to the production environment
Identify and mitigate risks: Identify and assess potential risks to the project and develop plans to mitigate them.
Manage change requests: Review and approve or reject change requests to the project scope or schedule.
Manage the project budget: Track and manage the project budget to ensure that the project is completed within budget.
Prepare project reports: Create and maintain project reports that document the project's progress, status, and potential risks or issues.
Keep up with the latest technologies and trends: Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the field to ensure that the project is delivered using the most appropriate and effective solutions.
Provide technical support to the team: Provide technical support and guidance to the team as needed.
Ensure compliance with project standards and procedures: Ensure that the project is executed in accordance with all relevant project standards and procedures.
Manage stakeholder expectations: Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure that they are satisfied with the project's progress and outcome.
Contribute to the organization's overall success: Contribute to the organization's overall success by delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Identify and implement best practices: Identify and implement best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project management process.
Participating in the procurement process: Participating in the procurement process to acquire the necessary goods and services for the project.
Managing vendor relationships: Managing relationships with vendors to ensure that they deliver the goods and services required by the project on time and to the required quality standards.
Escalating issues to senior management: Escalating any major issues or problems to senior management for resolution.
Providing feedback to stakeholders: Providing feedback to stakeholders on the project's progress and outcome.
Documenting the project's lessons learned: Documenting the project's lessons learned to be used on future projects.
What are the required qualifications of a Project Manager
5-10 years of Project Manager experience
Successful implementation experience with SaaS-based platforms
Business customer facing
Can manage up to 4 small projects simultaneously or 1 big project at a time
Supporting U.S. PST and MST business hours (critical)
Strong communication skills both speaking and writing
Candidates must provide a portfolio of previous projects.
With stable internet connection and back up when needed
Should be able to take in calls
