Job Description

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT or data migration projects.(Non negotiable)
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale migration projects from initiation to completion.(Non negotiable)
  • Strong understanding of data migration processes, tools, and technologies.(Non negotiable)
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).(Non negotiable)
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.(Non negotiable)
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.(Non negotiable)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Previous experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

Job Description

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining the migration strategy, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the project align with business objectives.
  • Oversee all phases of the migration, from planning and testing to execution and post-migration support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, including executives, IT teams, and external vendors.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and any changes to timelines or scope.
  • Manage expectations and ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with project goals.
  • Identify potential risks related to the migration process, including data loss, system downtime, and security breaches.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Develop a post-migration support plan, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations post-migration.
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders to assess the success of the migration and identify areas for improvement.
