The Project Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of delivery, supply and installation of office system furniture and modular cabinetry from initiation to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and extensive experience in the office system furniture and modular cabinetry industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Initiation:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular client meetings to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Team Coordination and Leadership:
Lead and coordinate project teams, including designers, engineers, and contractors.
- Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful project execution.
- Project Execution and Monitoring:
Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards.- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Conduct regular site visits to ensure project milestones are met and address any on-site challenges.
- Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are completed within budgetary constraints.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
- Quality Assurance and Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality and functionality of office system furniture and modular cabinetry.
- Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and client communications.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for improvement.
- Gather client feedback and implement lessons learned in future projects.
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field. A master's degree or PMP certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the office system furniture and modular cabinetry industry.- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
In-depth understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to office system furniture and modular cabinetry.
