About the Role
Position: Project Manager, Renewable Energy
Location: Philippines
Employment Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
Your role will encompass:
- Leading conceptual and feasibility design studies, energy yield assessments, and technical due diligence for solar PV (ground-mounted, rooftop, and floating), battery storage, onshore wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects.
- Overseeing EPC tendering, negotiating with EPC contractors, managing IPP bidding, PPA negotiations, and overall renewable energy project development.
- Handling various technical consulting tasks for renewable energy projects.
- Preparing client reports and coordinating the internal report preparation process.
- Engaging in business development, proposal creation, and contract negotiations.
- Potentially expanding your role to include involvement in offshore wind, green hydrogen/ammonia projects, decarbonisation studies, biomass power projects, LNG-to-Power, and more.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant engineering field (B.Sc. or higher).
- Over 5 years of experience in power utilities, IPP developers, engineering firms, or power sector consulting.
- Prior consulting work such as technical due diligence
- Proven experience in renewable energy project development.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong skills in report writing, presentations, and verbal communication.
- Experience interacting with clients and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultures.
- Capability to work independently.
