POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: PASIG CITY
JOB DESCRIPTION/OVERVIEW:
Responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish. They supervise tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure that every aspect of the project is completed on time. Project managers must also be able to foresee potential blockers and find proper solutions to mitigate or eliminate them so that they don't impede a project's success.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related/relevant fields.
- Between 10 and 15 years of experience as full-time project manager (directly managing the team) in financial services
- Very conversant with different project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, PMP, Kanban) and preferably certified
- Demonstrated experience in managing minimally 2 large projects (> 1year, > 30 people, > USD 5M)
- Good practical knowledge of developing WBS, Risk management, Issue management, Dependency management
- Excellent written/ verbal communication skills
- Project Management exposure must showcase experience in the following PM areas:
- Stakeholder management
- Planning and scheduling
- Issues and risk management
- Scope / requirements management
- Financial management
- Building a business case
- Vendor Management
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Has keen attention to details
- Experience and knowledge on MS Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure Services or similar technologies is an advantage
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and deploying assigned projects per SDLC and Governance process
- Lead the kick-off process, ensuring that all necessary resources are available in conjunction with the Business Sponsor and that a robust project plan is in place
- Facilitates vendor selection, contracting, and payments
- Identify project goals, needs, and scope. Lead the project planning and re-planning accordingly
- Ensure that all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly and with high quality
- Manage resources necessary for project execution including budget and vendor deliverables
- Foster effective communication with stakeholders concerning project status
- Foresee risks and strategically implement mitigation and/or contingency plans
- Identify and log project issues, oversee the resolution process and escalate issues when necessary
- Document each step of the process using various project management tools
- Prioritize change requests, execute impact assessment, make decisions to accept OR reject changes, and communicate clearly the decision to different stakeholders
- Ensure that stakeholders and team members stay motivated throughout a project's lifecycle. Manage teams to ensure top quality results and on-time completion of project deliverables
- Be able to manage UAT
- Lead the project closure ensuring that deliverables are documented and that the project met its goal.
- Harness projects best practices and contributes to the overall knowledge base. Develop relevant lessons learned/ case studies.
