Position Objective:
The position is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of the project while remaining aligned with the strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plans the activities, timetable, deliverables, and resources for projects and leads the team to complete the assigned tasks following agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manages processes (technical and business) to ensure plans are in place to meet business requirements in a cost efficient manner and within specific targets.
- Manages project team, defines roles and responsibilities, sets performance objectives and standards, ensures proper coaching and training to monitor and evaluate performance.
- Reviews business requirements and approves functional specifications and other project documentation to ensure adherence to agreed scope and to development methodology standards.
- Reviews plans and report on project progress of different work groups to ensure work is coordinated and continues to meet overall project objectives.
- Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions
- Prepares and/or reviews IT Building Permits, Exemption Requests, Risk Acceptance Requests, Security Assessment Questionnaires and other AIA standard request or forms needed by the projects.
- Provide strong leadership to ensure the ongoing development of a highly capable, productive and engaged workforce with a culture of ownership and delivery.
- Manages the financials of the project until closure.
Control/Governance
- Ensure awareness and compliance to AIA Project Governance standards.
- Compliance to the project governance and standard development methodology.
- Manage the communication and coordination with all stakeholders (internal and external resources, local BU or Group Office)
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving and leadership skills
- Project planning, risk management, financial management, time management and other project management skills
- Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent experience as a project manager
- Effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
Education and Experience
- Minimum education and experience required to perform the work.
- University Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related courses.
- 8-10 years experience managing medium to large IT projects
