Job Description

Hybrid work set-up
  • Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Internal Coordination Supervisor, under the Internal Coordination Division, the successful candidate is expected to perform project management and internal coordination on the identified critical and/or high value technical projects and initiatives in the Luzon and Metro Manila region. The personnel shall also be responsible for the management of stakeholders, application of technical expertise and compliance to safety and quality management to ensure company objectives are delivered and stakeholders expectations are satisfied.
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION SERVICES

Ensures the day-to-day implementation of project management services and related administrative tasks.

  • Keep informed of the day-to-day project management statuses involving field of responsibilities and assesses daily priorities of projects and initiatives that meets critical and/or high value criteria in accordance to the department manual.

  • Develops and integrates action plans for projects with respect to programs and pursues final dispositions according to assessed priorities.

  • Investigate project management problems which may cause delays or terminations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in milestones, and facilitates appropriate solutions.

  • Monitor and control project performance and regularly provide updates to project team, sponsors and the CCO leaders on status and issues of the project and ensure critical issues are highlighted to proper venues.

  • Coordinate with other departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of project management dispositions.

  • Regularly submit portfolio reports to update stakeholders on benefits managements, compliance, impact assessment, volume and resource analysis which may be used as basis for management decisions.

  • Maintain knowledge of current and pending standards, which affect areas of responsibility and ensures that all project management actions maintain compliance with applicable standard requirements.

  • Perform review, evaluation and facilitate approval of project changes.

  • Maintain and facilitate required project documents in compliance to the Department Manual

  • Establish and assist in standardizing and aligning policies and procedures for department and project related issues. Also develops procedures and criteria for project management actions, which are not adequately addressed in existing manuals, internal and external to the department.

  • Regularly assess risks on interrelated projects and inform the right stakeholders to prompt recommended action.

  • Conduct briefing or training on the project management principles as required.

  • Participate in all Company committees and boards as required.

  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned in order to achieve division and department objectives.

  • 2. STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

Helps build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders within his/her regional/district authority.

Tasks:


  • Builds and maintains strategic relationships with key stakeholders within his/her authority and drives the overall development and maintenance of company reputation on project management.

  • Develops and ensures the success of the Internal Coordination Division's stakeholder engagement strategies.

  • Reports to the Division Manager on company and industry matters and situations concerning project management strategies.

  • Cooperates and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the performance of activities necessary for the timely completion of projects and/or Management requirements.

  • 3. TECHNICALEXPERTISE

Provides expert knowledge and skills in the fields of business excellence associated with the company's assets, facilities, operations, and activities in line with the strategy and overall direction of the CCO.

Tasks:


  • Provides meaningful data and information analytics related to projects and critical activities assigned by management to aid in the achievement of corporate objectives.

  • Works with centers of expertise for the development of relevant and sound project management programs in coordination with concerned stakeholders.

  • Provides expert opinion and accurate information on matters pertaining to project management.

  • Assist in facilitating all forms of project management and coordination from project initiation up to project close-out.

  • Identifies and recommends necessary changes to project management programs, standards, policies, and guidelines in accordance with prevailing standards and best practices in related industries.

  • 4. SAFETY AND QUALITY COMPLIANCE

Ensures activities are fully compliant with NGCP safety and quality standards and policies

Tasks:


  • Educates oneself on matters affecting safety and quality in the workplace.

  • Complies with applicable regulations and NGCP standards on safety and quality.

  • Strives for the continuous improvement of NGCP processes necessary for the achievement of corporate objectives.

  • Upholds the corporate policies, guidelines, and COC

  • Requirements:

College Graduate of any engineering or management course, preferably Post-Graduate Degree

2years satisfactory professional experience in supporting project management work for any industry provided all aspects of the project management knowledge areas are covered.

At least 2 years of engineering or operations experience.

Knowledgeable in Integrated Management Systems and Project Management

Comprehensive knowledge in the power industry and components involved in running a transmission line and substation project

Advance knowledge inMS Office Applications

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php55,000.00 per month
