The Civil Engineer (Structural and Renovation) will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and renovation projects. With a focus on structural engineering, the ideal candidate will ensure the integrity and safety of various structures, coordinate with project teams, and manage all phases of civil works.
Design and analyze structural components for new constructions and renovation projects.
- Develop detailed blueprints and engineering plans.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software for creating project layouts and models.- Manage and oversee all phases of civil engineering projects, from conception to completion.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other engineers.
Conduct structural analysis and assessments to ensure stability and compliance with codes.- Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standards.
Perform risk assessments and mitigation strategies for structural integrity.
- Plan and execute renovation and retrofitting projects to enhance or restore structural integrity.
Develop solutions for structural issues in existing buildings and infrastructure.- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and standards.
Keep updated on the latest advancements in civil and structural engineering.
- Prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and technical specifications.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, inspections, and engineering calculations.- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural designs into broader project plans.
Provide technical support and advice to clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on structural design and renovation projects.
Must be a registered Civil Engineer
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and standards.
