The
Project Engineer is the overall in-charge of end-to-end task but not limited to:
- DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- PRE - CONSTRUCTION / PLANNING
Reviews plans and specifications to resolve possible conflicts in advance through Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Approval (RFA)- Determines variation between bid plans and for construction drawings and informs immediate head for claiming Variation Order to the clients
Prepares rebar cuttinglist for submission to consultants prior to purchasing and execution at site
- Prepares quantity take off upon awarding of project.
Updates balance to complete quantity on a monthly basis.- Prepares material look ahead schedule to be updated on a monthly basis (three 3 months look ahead).
Prepares detailed procurement schedule.
Attends and facilitates tool box meeting.
- Deploys and orients manpower assigned for their daily targets and schedules.
Orients workers during actual fabrication and installation of rebars and validates completed works if workmanship is within the standards.- Prepares area for endorsement to Project QAQC and facilitates the rectification of punchlist provided.
Assist Project QAQC in inspection together with the clients during inspections prior to pouring.
Updates monitorings on a daily basis particularly manpower, daily consumption, stocks inventory and issues encountered.
- Provides input on the weekly report being prepared by the Project Manager.
FOR SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER - REBAR
- Leads all trades of Junior Engineers (concrete, rebar, formworks) on a certain area assigned by the Project Manager.
DOCUMENTATIONS
- Prepares Inspection Work Request (IWR) two days prior to commencement of activity.
Maintains daily logbook using the provided format (Daily manpower monitoring, Daily consumption monitoring, issues and concerns)- Prepares Rebar cuttinglist as required .
Evaluates subcontractor's billing to be submitted to the Quantity Surveyor within the agreed deadline.
- Preparation of three months look ahead schedule
Preparation of monthly report to be submitted to Rebar Unit Head.- Prepares and in-charge of advance purchasing or requesting of required rebars.
At least 1 to 2 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position;- Must be a graduate of BS in Civil Engineering;
With strong analytical, communication, presentation skills as well as an eye for detail;
- Results-oriented, team-player with strong interpersonal skills;
Willing to be assigned in project site , Marilao, Bulacan Area;- Amenable to commute / relocate or living near / within Marilao, Bulacan Area;
