Project Engineer (Mechanical)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop and prepare detailed mechanical designs, estimates, and material take-offs for solar power plants, diesel power plants, synchronizing panels, and substations.

Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, Plan Swift, AutoCAD (ACAD), and Primavera for project planning and design.

• Lead the mechanical engineering aspects of projects from inception through to completion.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project execution.

• Manage and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems in power plant projects.

Provide technical support and expertise in programming, testing, and commissioning power plant projects.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.

• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including design specifications, technical reports, and compliance records.

Verify and document employment certificates from previous jobs.

• Oversee on-site mechanical engineering activities and ensure projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Coordinate with on-site teams to address any technical issues promptly.

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

• JOB QUALIFICATION:

Minimum bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

• With license

At least 5-10 years experience in any of the following solar power plants, diesel power plant, synchronizing panel or substation experience may apply

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Plan swift, ACAD or primavera

Can be able to prepare design, estimates and material-take off for the project

• Experience in programming, testing, and commissioning for power plant projects

With employment certificate from previous job

• Amenable to work on site

Can start ASAP.
