We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer - Electrical to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems in various construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a collaborative approach to drive projects to successful completion.
Project Planning and Design:
- Develop detailed electrical engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with other engineers to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
Project Management:
- Coordinate and oversee electrical engineering activities across multiple construction projects.
Prepare project schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.- Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and financial goals are met.
Technical Oversight:- Ensure electrical installations comply with industry standards and local codes.
Conduct site inspections to verify the quality of electrical work and adherence to project plans.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the electrical systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams.- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and clients.
Compliance and Safety:- Ensure all electrical work adheres to safety regulations and industry best practices.
Promote a culture of safety on-site and participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to electrical systems and compliance.
Minimum bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
At least 5-10 years experience in any of the following solar power plants, diesel power plant, synchronizing panel or substation experience may apply- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Plan swift, ACAD or primavera
Can be able to prepare design, estimates and material-take off for the project
- Experience in programming, testing, and commissioning for power plant projects
Can start ASAP.
