As a Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in our operations, leveraging your expertise in material take-offs, procurement, and technical software. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare material take-offs using client models or provided documentation for the following categories:
Pipe Attachments
Pipe Supports
E&I, Safety, Miscellaneous
Penetrations
Read and understand client specifications to ensure accuracy in material calculations.
Reconcile materials for procurement team
Read and understand material specifications.
Upload client support transmittals (Pipe support, E&I, Pipe Attachments).
Create assets and identify CWAs (Construction Work Areas) for relevant materials.
Field break assets as required for Pipe Support, E&I, and Pipe Attachments.
Assign build types and paint systems for materials using internal software tools.
Requirements:
A degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in material take-offs, or a similar role.
Ability to read and interpret structural and isometric drawings.
Knowledge of US steel specifications and US pipe grades (ASTM, API, ASME) is essential and highly advantageous.
Proficient in the following software is preferred (Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, Iconstruct, MicroStation, or any 3D modelling navigation)
Advanced Microsoft Excel
Strong understanding of construction and fabrication processes.
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Must be willing to report onsite in Arcovia, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City.
