The Project Coordinator plays a key role in the planning, implementation, and management of solar energy projects. They work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients to ensure the successful execution of solar initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Metering Applications:
- Coordinate the installation and setup of metering equipment to measure solar energy production.
- Ensure accurate meter readings and data collection for performance monitoring and reporting purposes.
- Liaise with utility companies or regulatory bodies to comply with metering requirements and facilitate net metering or feed-in tariff programs.
Documentation of Pictures Pre and Post Installation:
- Organize and maintain a comprehensive database of pre and post-installation images for reference, reporting, and marketing purposes.
- Use visual documentation to showcase successful installations and demonstrate the benefits of solar energy solutions.
Issuing of Invoice, Receipts, Settlement of Payment:
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner to clients or stakeholders for solar system installations, services, or products.
- Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, including receipts and payments, and reconcile accounts as needed.
- Coordinate with accounting or finance teams to ensure prompt settlement of invoices and facilitate payment processing.
Getting Feedback:
- Collect feedback from clients, contractors, and stakeholders regarding the solar project process, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct surveys, interviews, or feedback sessions to gather insights, identify areas for improvement, and address any concerns or issues raised.
- Use feedback to inform project evaluations, refine processes, and enhance customer experience.
STC Application (Small-scale Technology Certificate):
- Manage the application process for Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) or renewable energy certificates (RECs) related to solar energy installations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and submit accurate documentation to claim STCs and receive incentives or credits.
- Track STC applications, approvals, and certificates to optimize financial benefits and incentives for solar projects.
What We're Looking for
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in renewable energy, engineering, environmental science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in solar energy project management, coordination, or related roles.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, technology trends, and industry standards.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with permitting processes, regulatory requirements, and environmental impact assessments.
- Proficiency in project management software, CRM, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
