Works closely with Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. Performs various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.
Ensures that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
- PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or College Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
- Has at least 1 year experience as Project Coordinator.
Computer literate and well-versed with MS Office applications.- Flexible and can work in longer hours.
- GENERAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate Project Management Activities, Resources, Equipment, and Information:- Identify the Total Project Contract
Review all submitted work specification of the Project: Materials, Equipment, Consumables, Manpower, Date of Project Start, Target Project Completion
- Identify if the stated work specification is being followed.
Notify the Project Manager the Project Status.- Prepare Updated Reports of the Work Specification requested and consumed at Project.
Break Projects into doable actions and set timeframes.
- Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, work scope and objectives.
Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.- Make sure that Clients needs are met as Projects Evolve: Implement strict monitoring of work progress of jobs and duties, scheduled, submissions and deadlines as per commitment of each staff to their Project Manager or Site Management and making sure that all work commitment by Site Team are being met.
Help prepare budgets.
- Analyze risks and opportunities.
Oversee project procurement management.- Monitor Project Progress and Handle any issues that arise: Monitor if the Work Specification stated in the contract was being followed by the Site Project, checking of all resources base on the site commitment quantity and handling responsibilities, coordinate with Project Manager the Progress of Site Request if they still on their target budget, and discuss all issues encountered at Project Sites.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers.
- Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement).- Create and Maintain Comprehensive Project Documentation, Plans and Reports: Collating all Project Reports and constantly ask for the status of each Project Team
Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
