Role description:
To be able to handle project/s with the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on all stages from Conceptualization to Completion.
Role accountabilities:
Ensure compliance with API, P&PM Department and ARCADIS policies and procedures.
Comply with the Project Procedure and Process based on the PM Manual.
Assist and support the PM, SPM or Lead PM to establish partnerships with the Clients team working together for the benefit of the Project.
Attendance in all Project coordination meetings at site or as may be required by PM Lead and prepationof Minutes of the Meeting.
Assist in the preparation, updating and maintaining of the Project Directory, documentation and organized filing system and ensure available anytime may be use for reference and records. Prompt distribution of minutes and other documents instructed by the PM.
Assist Project Lead's for the planning, workshops, meetings and scheduled inspections.
Comply to a clear organizational structure with good communication lines between all parties.
Support eh Team to oversee the execution of the project on a day-to-day of construction activities and post construction phases and escalate to the Immediate Superior should the project run into delay or any activity is being carried out in an unsafe manner.
Assist the Team for checking of plans, work scope, shop drawings and requirements for compliance to engineering design, materials, procurement, fabrication and construction.
Assist the PM or SPM in resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise and/or escalating to the immediate superior as needed.
Coordinate with Clients, Consultants and third parties timing of Site visits and inspections as Engineers of Record during the execution of the Works that the Works are in compliance with the Contract Documents.
Assit the Project Manager on the preparation of progress report. Lead the coordination to organize the contents of the report including progress photos, schedules, progress of 3rd parties and Contractors.
Monitor the furnishing and distribution of information to the appropriate parties in a timely manner taking into accounts the status of the program.
Maintain of Project documentation and records at site and electronic files.
Review, comment, monitor and report to the Immediate Superior, Contractors progress against program on a weekly / monthly basis including manpower, plant and materials.
Assist the quality control program, monitoring of the site progress, health and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are adhered to and compliance to local and International standard whatever applicable in specific projects.
Updating and collating of Health & Safety protocols and report on a weekly / monthly basis
Assist the PM in updating of a QA / QC report on a weekly / monthly basis.
Identify risks and issues, suggest to the Project Team any alternatives that lead to the best solution
Review, and update and monitor master plan and master program against actual progress particularly critical activities
Assist the PM in organizing the testing and commissioning program and monitor activities when necessary or as directed by PM and other Engineers.
Administer the execution of all Testing and Commissioning, and ensure attendance of Contractor, Consultants and Owner Representative during testing, Ensure sign-off of ALL attendees on the Test Reports.
Organize the comment, result or reports and secure sign off from Consultants and Operators to accept testing and commissioning manuals, testing certificates and warranties in accordance with Contractors contract closeout deliverables.
Preparation, monitoring and update schedule of punch list items.
Preparation and issuance of Construction Close Out Report Preparation, updating and monitoring schedules including Client deliverables, consultant deliverables, statutory permits and approvals, OSM, direct contracts and Contractors including milestone dates against master program.
Review, approve, monitor and update handover and occupation program.
Assist with recommendation of evaluation of Contractors progress and final payment applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate of any of the following courses: Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial or other related courses. PRC License Holder is an advantage.
Has 1 to 2 years of experience in both shell building and interiors (fit-out) construction
Preferably with experience in reading and interpreting designs.
Knowledge of Project Management with demonstrated experience in managing sites, site coordination and client presentation
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with Project Team.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
With background in programming and planning software (e.g., MS project, Autocad, Microsoft Office).
