About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Control Department Head to join our dynamic team at BMQ BUILDERS AND SUPPLY CORP. in Davao City, Davao del Sur. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project control, ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing comprehensive project control systems to monitor and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Providing strategic guidance and support to project teams, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Analyzing project data and generating detailed reports to track progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure effective communication and alignment
- Implementing and maintaining robust change management processes to manage project scope variations
- Mentoring and developing the project control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project control, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
- Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation
- Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Primavera, or Oracle Primavera
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify innovative solutions
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
