We are looking for a dynamic, motivated, and hard-working Regional Team Lead. The role will report directly into Global Project Finance Team lead and will play a key role in establishing a high performing regional project finance team. The Regional Team Lead will be responsible for supporting project managers through the project life cycle in NetSuite, undertaking some of the more complex aspects of the system to make the process as robust and efficient as possible for project managers and the business.
The Regional Team Lead will be responsible for creating a collaborative environment within the regional team, ensuring that continuous improvements are made, best practice is shared, and processes are well documented and being adhered to within the region. The role will initially involve leading 5 project finance accountants, but this is likely to grow as the business expands.
As well as taking on leadership responsibilities, the Regional Team Lead will also be required to support Project Managers through the NetSuite process like the project accountants. However, it is estimated that the leadership role responsibilities would consume around 50% of time in the role compared with providing direct project finance support.
Lead the Regional Team in Manila along with the Global Project Finance Team lead.- Manage and coach all direct line reports in accordance with company procedures and standards.
Oversee whole team operations in the region, ensure that the regional team provides an excellent finance support to Anthesis project managers.
- Communicate comprehensive team performance and strategize action plans to improve results.
Assist management with hiring processes and training the new team members.- Conduct team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations.
Communicate concerns and policies among management and team members.
- Communicate fully to the Global Project Finance Team Lead and Controller on all situations that may affect the team's ability to meet standards or deadlines.
Support an allocation of project managers through the full NetSuite financial process in line with the responsibilities of the project accountants (smaller allocation of PMs to allow for leadership time).- Support the Global Project Finance Team Lead and Regional Finance Controllers in the execution of new processes.
Establish strong and robust internal control processes in the region.
- Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement.
Ensure project data is being maintained properly (including closure of completed projects on a regular basis).- Monitor team workload and ensure items are being responded to on a timely basis in the region.
Mailbox Management lead.
- Act as a point of contact for reporting needs of the team. (i.e billing forecast, problematic projects, priority projects, project setup list, etc.)
Act as the point of contact in audit-related activities collection of data related to completion and contract.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent relevant courses.- Qualified accountant with strong technical accounting and project accounting skills
With 5 + years of relevant working experience.
- Previous line management experience.
Experience with Oracle NetSuite is strongly preferred.- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word) is essential.
Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proactive self-starter with first class organizational ability, who is detail oriented, and results focused, and able to oversee and support the financial administration of several projects at once.
