Job Summary:The Program Head of the Klaus Hoffarth Center for Critical Thinking is a fixed-term position responsible for overseeing and implementing initiatives related to critical thinking development within the institution. This position primarily focuses on coordinating teacher training programs and managing library activities to foster critical thinking skills among students and faculty.
A master's degree or higher in education, psychology or a related field
- Extensive experience in program management, particularly in educational settings.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff and stakeholders.- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building relationships and partnerships.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
- Previous experience in teacher training and curriculum development
In-depth knowledge of critical thinking theories, pedagogies, and instructional strategies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and evaluation to assess program effectiveness.
