Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the departments, implementing and enforcing policies and recommends improvements to achieve target results.
- 1 Manages shift process Leads, Operators toward meeting volume requirements.
- 2 Reviews and revises daily shift production schedules and strategies based on production plans considering available resources.
- 3 Determines personnel shifting assignments.
- 4 Inspects production floor activities periodically to ensure conformity to required standards
- 5 Oversees key performance indicators from reports, develops key strategies, defines and advises personnel for necessary actions.
- 6 Authors, reviews and revises departmental policies, procedures and work instructions
- 7 Oversees smooth operations of export production and ensures all product regulatory requirements for specific markets are met
- 8 Manage Indirect Materials usage and determines re-ordering point
- 9 Initiate Indirect Materials Purchase Requisition creation and follow up approvals and delivery.
- Materials and Finished Goods Managements
- 1 Reviews materials and supplies quality, availability and ensures they are in the right machine at the right time
- 2 Monitors and improve material usage and correct the variances
- 3 Monitors scrap generation and embarks on programs in improving Process Yield via Line rejects reduction
- 4 Conducts weekly and monthly inventory count and reconciliation
- Maintenance and Engineering
- 1 Monitors and coordinates the line maintenance requirements, progress on troubleshooting and repair activities and facilities downtime recording
- 2 Gives feedback on improvement of machine performance after maintenance cycles
- 3 Guides process and equipment improvement projects
- 1 Collaborate with stakeholders in cost optimization initiatives that target zero waste
- Human Resources and Administration
- 1 Evaluates performance of personnel and ensures their compliance to company policies and procedures and ensures completion of Performance Management System document
- 2 Performs assessment and selection of personnel for vacant position
- 3 Leads, coaches, counsels and motivates staff toward attainment of departmental goals
- 4 Ensures employee work performance review and identify areas that needs improvement
- 5 Training and onboarding of new hires to make sure they understand their roles
- Ensure compliance of personnel with all applicable quality, environment, occupational health and safety laws, regulations, requirements of international standards, and other requirements
- Performs other related tasks as necessary
