Job Description:- _Lead the Production Team:_ Plan, organize, and coordinate daily production activities under the guidance of the Production Manager.
_Optimize Production Processes:_ Identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and meet production targets.- _Provide Leadership and Direction:_ Offer guidance and support to production team members, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures.
_Oversee Training and Development:_ Facilitate training sessions for new production employees, covering equipment operation, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- _Ensure Regulatory Compliance: _Uphold company policies, including safety protocols, house rules, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
_Maintain Production Records: _Oversee the accurate filing of production-related documents, including inventory levels, production reports, and monitoring logs.- _Collaborate Across Departments:_ Liaise with quality assurance and other departments to address production-related issues, implement procedure changes, and ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
_Conduct Minimal Safety Inspections:_ Lead regular safety inspections, enforcing safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- _Drive Continuous Improvement: _Spearhead initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.
_Manage Administrative Tasks:_ Handle scheduling, staffing, document fling, and performance evaluations, working closely with the Production Manager.- _Assume Additional Responsibilities: _Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Production Manager to support overall production objectives and goals.
Bachelor's degree in business management major in Operations or Food Technology or related field is preferred.- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of production processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as MS Office suite.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.- Commitment to promoting a positive work culture and fostering teamwork.
