Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing all daily activities for mainly the shredding/rasper/crumb operations but problem solving in other area as they arise. This position is a working Supervisor who will be working side by side with their crew.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Plans and directs plant operations.

• Focuses on driving Safety, quality, and productivity.

Develops, implements, and enforces operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and revenue.

• Provides leadership, management, and motivation to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention.

Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.

• Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

Monday to Saturday; 8am-5pm

• The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.

• The buildings are heated during the winter, but conditions could be cold in the winter & hot during the summer.

The shredding/rasper areas are dirty & wet at times. Crumb area is dusty.
