The Production Supervisor accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
- Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas
Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager- Performs accident investigations
Maintains proper inventory levels
- Manages department priorities
Tracks team productivity including absenteeism and timekeeping- Ensures housekeeping standards are maintained to the highest standard
Controls product rejects/ wastage throughout the shift
