The primary function of this role is to convert the aggregate production plan into detailed schedules for various departments, aiming to optimize available capacity and meet client finished goods requirements. This involves supervising Order Processing Clerks responsible for releasing orders based on weekly production schedules and monitoring the company's execution against these schedules. Additionally, resource requirements needed for production are analyzed to ensure the plan can be successfully executed.
The scope of this position includes planning the execution of forecasted orders against capacity and managing the conversion of planned orders into finished goods through internal partners. The main duties performed by employees under supervision include batch determination, control number assignment, monitoring order status, following up on material release, printing batch records, and ensuring timely turnover of documents to the Quality Control Department. The role also involves generating and releasing weekly and monthly production schedules, updating order statuses, facilitating product delivery, and attending daily meetings to address operational issues and targets. Collaboration with various departments and the submission of schedule adherence reports are crucial responsibilities as well.
In addition to supervising Order Processing Clerks, the role also involves personally performing key tasks such as generating schedules, monitoring order statuses, facilitating deliveries, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the accuracy of manufacturing and packaging orders. The position requires close coordination with Accounts Managers, Technical Services, Production Managers, Purchasing Managers, and other support groups to achieve monthly production targets. The role also includes duties like checking documentation before submission to the Quality Control Department, coordinating with Quality Control and Warehouse for materials, monitoring employee performance, and handling any other assignments as required by the immediate superior.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering.
At least 3 to 5 Year(s) of relevant working experience in the managerial role.
