A Production Manager oversees a company's production processes to ensure they stay within budget and enhance efficiencies. They are responsible for consistently finding ways to improve an organization's production processes and structures. Production Managers regularly review employees and their equipment to determine where enhancements can be made.
They work closely with team members to build strategies to maximize performance and collaborate with other departments to set goals for the production team. They are also in charge of scheduling routine maintenance to keep the equipment running effectively and maintaining quality standards.
Job Description
- Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staffs
Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident-free- Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
- Setting productivity goals for each production team
Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality- Ensuring adequate scheduling of staffs.
QUALIFICATIONS- Graduates of Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Strong project management skills, strategic and team-oriented mindset, decision making skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
With a minimum of 5years of experience in the same field is an advantage- Knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus, but not required.
Ability to coach and motivate employees.
- Willing to be assigned in Pasig.
