JOB DESCRIPTION
- Reviews processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints.
Directs or coordinates production, processing, and distribution of manufactured products.- Develops or implements production tracking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reports, to detect production challenges.
Sets and monitors product standards, examines samples of raw products or directs testing during processing, to ensure finished products are of prescribed quality.
- Requests and maintains inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
Organizes and plans delivery or distribution of supplies to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules.- Plans production commitments or timetable for business units, specific programs, or jobs, using sales forecast.
Initiates or coordinates inventory or cost control programs.
- Maintains current knowledge of the quality control field, relying on current trends, technological advances, or statistical studies.
Negotiates materials prices with suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering/Food Technology
Candidate must possess 5 years of working experience in a food manufacturing set up and Production Management.
- With HACCP & GMP Certification.
