JOB PURPOSE
- The Product Transition Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing the seamless transition of products within the organization. This role focuses on managing the changes related to raw and packaging materials, product rationalization, and any associated project activities. The primary goal is to ensure transitions are implemented effectively, on time, within budget, and in line with defined project objectives.
- The Product Transition Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, production, marketing, and other stakeholders, to ensure clear communication and successful execution of transitions. They are tasked with developing transition plans, monitoring progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations and customer service. Additionally, the Product Transition Specialist plays a key role in sustaining changes after project completion, supporting continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with direct involvement in product transitions or change management projects.
- Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry is preferred.
- Proven track record of managing product transitions, including planning, execution, and monitoring, with minimal disruption to operations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and meet tight deadlines.
