Steering Excellence: Directing Strategic Initiatives
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Transform strategies, initiatives, user feedback, and insights into executable requirements for the development team, and drive growth opportunities throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement Agile practices to optimize product development and delivery, and actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead Agile teams and ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective.
- Create and maintain well-defined backlogs, ensuring they reflect business priorities and are ready for development, collaborating closely with development teams to plan and execute timely releases.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive roadmaps that align with business priorities and market needs, outlining key milestones, releases, and feature deliveries.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide visibility of release timelines, progress, and future direction regularly.
- Work closely with designers to ensure the user experience aligns with goals and meets user expectations.
- Manage roadmap, budget, scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
Requirements
Mastering Excellence: Key Qualifications for Thriving in Dynamics
- In-depth knowledge of Agile software development processes and principles, particularly in the Agile Product Owner role or similar.
- More than 5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Direct experience in stakeholder-facing roles managing backlogs with accountability for timely delivery, project success, stakeholder, and end-user satisfaction.
- Act as a servant leader, fostering an Agile mindset and promoting collaboration across teams.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Action-oriented team player with a strong sense of responsibility, focusing on the task at hand and demonstrating a proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
- Strategic thought leader with the ability to identify product innovation opportunities aligned with customer/market needs and business priorities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple project priorities and drive quality execution in high-paced settings.
- Experience with consumer-facing digital products.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in Scrum or Kanban framework
- Experience working with global or distributed teams
- Certification as a Scrum Product Owner and/or Certified Scrum Master
