About The Role
The Marketing Assistant will play a crucial role in enhancing our client's online presence through strategic management of product pages and content on our Shopify platform. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, creative thinking, and a strong understanding of e-commerce principles
Responsibilities:
- Upload 20 new products or review and update existing products daily on Shopify
- Utilize Shopify analytics to identify pages with high bounce rates and high traffic; continuously optimize Product Detail Pages (PDPs) by adding reviews, updating copy, images, and other elements to improve performance.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of changes made to PDPs to drive sales and enhance user experience.
- Innovate and streamline the product upload process to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain a consistent brand tone of voice across product descriptions and brand communications.
- Ensure the top 300 PDPs feature high-quality images, compelling copy, and a minimum of 25 reviews per product.
- Expand social proof on the website through initiatives like ambassador reviews, testimonials, and customer-generated content.
Requirements:
- Experience in product listing and Shopify is preferred.
- Proficiency in intermediate Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Bonus: Experience with Figma & Photoshop; willingness to learn if not proficient.
- Excellent copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain brand tone of voice.
- Previous experience in marketing or e-commerce is advantageous.
