Key Responsibilities:- Fabric Consumption Approval:
- Verify fabric consumption by checking printed patterns and pattern parts.
Compute and confirm fabric consumption before uploading to Flex software.
Trim Consumption Approval:
Approve trim consumption by reviewing the Trims/Accessories Sheet against the approved sample.
Final Specifications Check:
Ensure that final specifications conform to the Tech Pack. Incorporate all changes in construction and measurements based on historical fitting results and evaluations.
- Mini Markers and Consumption Verification:
- Check and verify mini markers and fabric consumption to ensure accuracy.
- Fabric Shrinkage Analysis:
- Provide percentage fabric shrinkage on samples after washing, based on washed panels.
- Workload Management:
- Monitor and plan the workload of pattern-making, pattern grading, and marking-making staff.
Advise the Product Development Manager of any issues in each process.
Technical Problem Solving:
Address technical issues related to pattern adjustments, specification changes, marker layout, and fabric & trim consumption.
Fabric Collection Summary (FCS) Meetings:
Attend FCS meetings to address and resolve technical issues.- Qualifications and Skills:
Strong understanding of garment construction and fabric properties.- Proficiency in pattern making and grading.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Effective communication skills to address technical issues and provide clear guidance.
